Harpers Ferry National Historical Park is located at the intersection
of the Appalachian Trail and the C&O Canal towpath trail about 10
miles south of the Antietam Guest House.
National Conservation Training Center is three miles north of Shepherdstown
and about six miles from the Antietam Guest House.
Shepherd University is located in Shepherdstown three miles west of
the Antietam Guest House.
Yankaur Preserve of the Potomac Valley Audubon Society is four miles
north of Shepherdstown and about seven miles from the Antietam Guest House.
