Nearby Attractions of the Antietam National Battlefield

  • A National Park Service Visitor Center, the Dunker Church, an Observation Tower and the Sunken Road (Bloody Lane) are located near the center of the Antietam National Battlefield on the east side of Md. 65 (Sharpsburg Pike) about a mile northeast of the Antietam Guest House.

  • The North Woods, West Woods, East Woods and The Cornfield are about a mile north of the Antietam National Battlefield Visitor Center .

  • The Antietam National Cemetery is on Md. 34 about four blocks southeast of the Antietam Guest House.

  • Burnside Bridge is on Burnside Bridge Road about two miles southeast of the Antietam Guest House near the south end of the 3,200-acre Antietam National Battlefield.
